Raymond Community Park is quickly becoming one of Prosper’s signature public spaces. Designed to serve a growing community, the park reflects the town’s commitment to honoring its history while investing in places where residents can gather, stay active, and build lasting connections.

Named after former Prosper Parks & Recreation Director Dudley Raymond, who served from 2016 to 2021, the park is a tribute to his leadership and belief in the value of strong public spaces. The Raymond family’s “backward R” ranch brand appears throughout the park, connecting the project to the heritage, stewardship, and hometown values that helped shape Prosper.

Spanning approximately 70 acres, Raymond Community Park provides a wide range of opportunities for recreation. Playgrounds, hike-and-bike trails, tennis and pickleball courts, sports fields, and open green space create room for families, friends, athletes, and neighbors to enjoy time outdoors together.

The baseball complex, practice fields, and courts also help meet the increasing demand for youth sports in Prosper. As the town continues to grow, the park serves both new and longtime residents by providing a shared destination that strengthens community ties.
